Merry Christmas!

This is what I did when I should have been dusting the house. Merry Christmas!
Extra points to anyone who can tell me why I put Lee Majors in the picture.

The 666th pt.2

Here's the next 3 pages of the 6 sample pages. The whole sample is of an exorcism scene about to be crashed by some deomonic nasties.

The 666th pt. 1

Here's 6 sample pages (in 2 posts) I did for a project titled "The 666th," which is theoretically in development with Image Comics. It's a story about a girl who's having the devil's baby, and about the monsters that want to destroy her, and the ones that want to help her.

MacArthur, Reagan, Grant

Here's a couple more from The Army

Washington and Bush 1

I'm currently working on a one-shot comic based on the history of the U.S. Army for Bluewater Entertainment--It's a lot of fun because I get to draw all sorts of things throughout history, including many past Presidents. Here are a couple from that project.

Vermillion Issue #3

Here's a handful of pages from Vermillion #3, which I did for Waheela Comics. It, along with the collected trade paperback graphic novel of issues 1-3 should be available sometime early next year at http://www.waheelacomics.com/.

Vermillion Issue #2

Here's some pages, and the cover, from the second issue of "Vermillion," a Detroit-set werewolf comic I've done for Waheela Comics. Pages from the first issue are viewable at my home site http://www.claytonmccormack.com/, and I'll be posting pages from issue #3 shortly. Vermillion #1 and #2 are both available for purchase at http://www.waheelacomics.com/, and the new year should see the publication of issue #3, as well as a collected trade of issues #1-3. Enjoy!

Movies: Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans

As a fan of Werner Herzog, and crazy, out-there movies, I can say definitely go see Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. Whether you think it's a remake, a reimagining, or just using the "Bad Lieutenant" title to put butts in the seats is irrelevant--this movie was a ton of twisted fun, and might be the most quotable bizarre black comedy since The Big Lebowski. Loved it--and I haven't liked anything Nic Cage has done since The Rock. I will be buying this the day it comes out on DVD.

Avengers 2

Here's the second batch of my Avengers cards (the ones I liked, anyway). The surface on these cards was pretty slick, and I didn't have a lot of time to experiment, but I found out rather quickly that inkwash worked best, so I stuck to Black and White for this set. I think the Peter Cushing card is my favorite one of the set (fingers crossed I get on that new Hammer set!). Enjoy!

The Avengers

After being out of the sketch card game for...almost two years (wow, time flies), I'm back with a set of sketch cards based on the 60's television show The Avengers. This set is put out through Strictly Ink, and should be available in either late December or early January, I believe. Enjoy!

First Post

So I've gotten tired of updating my personal website through dreamweaver etc, as it's a huge pain, so until I've decided on a new place to host my personal site, this will be the place to find new work I've done, news about what I'm up to, and all sorts of other crap people usually use blogs to pontificate about!

Thanks for checking me out, and hope you enjoy your stay
