Here's my story for the upcoming horror anthology Hellbound, from the Boston Comics Roundtable. I've been working on a project inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, and have been obsessed with the art of Alberto Breccia lately, so it's kind of my attempt to put the two together myself! Enjoy!
Here's the cover for the first collected trade of Vermillion. It'll include the first three issues that I illustrated. Not sure when the release date is
Here's 3 more that I did for the Con last Saturday. I got to meet with Mark Chiarello, who was kind enough to review my portfolio, and we had a great conversation about artists things. Great guy. (if anyone is confused, Jonah Hex doesn't show up till the last panel on the last page.)
Here's 6 sample pages (in 2 posts) I did for a project titled "The 666th," which is theoretically in development with Image Comics. It's a story about a girl who's having the devil's baby, and about the monsters that want to destroy her, and the ones that want to help her.
I'm currently working on a one-shot comic based on the history of the U.S. Army for Bluewater Entertainment--It's a lot of fun because I get to draw all sorts of things throughout history, including many past Presidents. Here are a couple from that project.
Here's a handful of pages from Vermillion #3, which I did for Waheela Comics. It, along with the collected trade paperback graphic novel of issues 1-3 should be available sometime early next year at http://www.waheelacomics.com/.
Here's some pages, and the cover, from the second issue of "Vermillion," a Detroit-set werewolf comic I've done for Waheela Comics. Pages from the first issue are viewable at my home site http://www.claytonmccormack.com/, and I'll be posting pages from issue #3 shortly. Vermillion #1 and #2 are both available for purchase at http://www.waheelacomics.com/, and the new year should see the publication of issue #3, as well as a collected trade of issues #1-3. Enjoy!
